In 1982, one of the most prolific agave producing companies in the Jalisco Highlands and the country was organized under the name of Don Nacho, beginning production at 5,000 tons a year until reaching the current figure of 50,000 tons a year. This laid the foundation for starting a tequila factory.

Casa Don Nacho began in 2003 under the trade name of Tequila Don Nacho, S.A. de C.V. with the goal of creating an excellent quality product. Ignacio Hernandez Gutierrez is the founder and head of the company. After growing agave for three decades, he and his family had the vision to commence a new phase of the tequila business by supplying their factory from their own agave fields that have the highest yields and quality in the Jalisco Highlands.


Once the agave is ripe, it is harvested by removing the leaves and leaving only the base and stem, resulting in the agave heart resembling a pineapple. This is where the agave’s carbohydrates are stored.


Pineapple is cut and cooked in traditional ovens water vapor, transforming carbohydrates into fermentable sugars.


The pineapple is mechanically torn and fed to the milling tandem, thus obtaining what we call agave juice.


In this phase of the process, the sugars presented in the musts are transformed by the action of the yeasts, in alcohol.


After the fermentation process, the musts obtained called dead, are subjected to a double distillation. Which consist in the separation and purification of alcohol.


Once obtained the 100% pure Agave Pure White Tequila is left to stand in American white oak barrels for 6 months for our 100% Pure Agave donut and 10 months for our tequila 100% pure Agave Pure Rest.

In the case of our Tequila Don Nacho Extra Premium Añejo 100% Puro de agave is allowed to stand for 24 months, giving it its unique and unequaled profile.


At Tequila Don Nacho we are totally focused on the Quality and Safety of our products, that is why we count on our encapsulated packaging area, thus avoiding any type of external contamination.

The manufacturing process of Casa Don Nacho products is 100 natural because no part of the process includes additives or chemicals to help fermentation. So we know what we are offering. We use the highest quality raw products from the beginning of the process (our own agave) that becomes the best juice for producing tequila, giving us an edge over the competition.

Casa Don Nacho is a worthy representative of Mexico and exports its products to markets as varied as North America, Central America, South America, Europe and Asia. It is present in practically the entire Mexican market.

3 tequila shots
Lime Juice
Extra Premium Don Nacho Silver Tequila


Pour lime juice into one shot glass, silver tequila into another one and sangrita into the last one. Set them up in the following order to allude to the colors of the Mexican flag: green (lime juice), white (tequila) and red (sangrita).

Bloody Mary


1 oz. Extra Premium Don Nacho Reposado Tequila
2 oz. tomato juice
1 pinch of lime juice
1 pinch of Tabasco sauce
1 pinch of salt
1 lime slice


Stir all the ingredients (except for the lime slice) in an old-fashion glass with ice. Serve and decorate with the lime slice.

Tequila Straight


1 cognac glass
Extra Premium Don Nacho Añejo
1 plate slices of citruses (lemons, oranges, limes)


Extra Premium Don Nacho Añejo, a very fine tequila that has been aged in casks for three years, bestowing it very special characteristics, is recommended for drinking straight.

Silk Stockings


1 part Don Nacho Silver Tequila
2 parts evaporated milk
½ part condensed milk
¼ part grenadine
1 cup chaffed ice
1 Champaign glass
Ground cinnamon


Blend the tequila with condensed milk, and then blend the evaporated milk with the grenadine and chaffed ice. Pour the two mixes together and shake for a few moments. Serve in a Champaign glass and decorate with ground cinnamon.



Tall glass with salted rim
3 or 4 ice cubes
½ lime squeezed over the ice
Salt to taste
2 oz. Don Nacho Reposado Tequila
4 oz. sangrita
Grapefruit soda


Pour all the ingredients into the glass with a previously salted rim, leaving the grapefruit soda to last. Stir well and serve.
